1. Huthayl asked the Messenger of Allah an obscene question,
Huthayl went astray with what they asked, and did not hit the mark,

2. They asked their Messenger what he would not grant them
Until death, and they were the outcasts of the Arabs,

3. And you will never see anyone calling upon Huthayl,
Calling for an honor from the abode of war,

4. They certainly wanted indecency and their foolishness,
And to make lawful what was forbidden in the books.
