1. O sleeper for years in the slumber of your first ones,
Were you deluded, poor soul, by Gabriel?

2. Or were you, son of Ziyad, when you killed him
In a lonely spot on the bare earth unknown?

3. And you said "We will not see" - but God sees you
And in you the explicit verses and hints abound

4. Muhammad - and the Almighty God informs him
Of the secrets hidden in your innermost thoughts.
