١. أَلا يالَ قَومٍ مِن مَلامَةِ عَيثَمٍ
وَداري بِجَوِّ الأَخنَسِيَّةِ دارِيا
2. You blame the havoc of time, yet you left
No tusk, no bone untouched by decay
٢. تَلومُ عَلى عَضِّ الزَمانِ وَلَم تَدَع
سَناماً وَلا مُخّاً مِنَ العَظمِ وارِيا
