And God elevated by the Helpers those who gave victory.

30. I saw you, by God the truth is wrathful,
You resent the ravenous or snarling being mentioned.

31. A people who return the truce of a people violently,
Disheveled forelocks when the militias are expelled.

32. The Ukhaydir is a pig wandered by
One of the abysses feared and expected.

33. They brought to you the horses’ chests trained
To cover the stabbing, and in their sides there is fraud.

34. The events, we said, will not be seen ever
From Thaqif after them, neither eye nor trace.

35. Until I heard of a pig that lamented

36. Their living are the worst of lives
And the earth vomits their dead when buried.

37. Filth they will be when they pray, their call to prayer

Or who made you equal to Qais when they were warned?

42. Qais and Khandif are the people of glory before you
You are not to them and nor are you their concern.

43. Die of woe in sadness upon your island
Murr did not cut a valley’s belly except it had Murr.

44. You vilify Qais though their tails have stripped you
Until Aus and Namir brought esteem to their coasts.

45. I have exiled you from Najd yet Najd is not yours
Nor is Najd or any of its rocks yours.

46. Meet Ukhaydir in a troop whose lights
Flash – they did not honor pilgrimage nor perform umrah.

47. Those laughing towards the pig, its craving
Oh how ugly those mouths are when they grin.

48. And those gambling on the pig, their luck
Evil are clerics and evil the people when they gambled.

49. The Thaqafi is wicked when the dawn overwhelms him
And the Thaqafi is wicked when tested.

50. And the Thaqafi when his leadership is complete
A slave driving the people’s mounts, hired.

51. The women of Thaqif – no patience or lineage,
No beauty, religion or veil.

52. The Messenger would not accept their religion
Nor the two good ones, Abu Bakr or Umar.

53. The Messenger came with the religion of truth, but they recoiled,
Will the Messenger of God be harmed if they disbelieved?

54. Oh Khazraj of Thaqif - betrayal has befallen you
As long as oil flows in Mardeen and is extracted.

55. You wore betrayal intrinsically formed from their hides
Then you wore the clothes of betrayal and wrapped them.

56. Those insulting Bakr when their bellies filled
And those inclining to Bakr when they became needy.

57. The Thaqafi is wicked when the dawn overwhelms him
And the Thaqafi is wicked when tested.

58. And the Thaqafi when his leadership is complete
A slave driving the people’s mounts, hired.

59. The women of Thaqif – no intelligence or lineage
No beauty, religion or veil.

60. What the Messenger of God would not accept is their religion
Nor the two good ones, Abu Bakr or Umar.

61. The Messenger came with the religion of truth, but they recoiled,
Will the Messenger of God be harmed that they disbelieved?

62. Oh pigs of Thaqif - betrayal has allied with you
As long as oil flows in Mardeen and is extracted.

63. You wore betrayal intrinsically formed from their hides
Then you wore the clothes of betrayal and wrapped them.

64. Those insulting Bani Bakr when they are satiated
And those leaning on Bakr when they become needy.
