Nor am I satisfied with their chieftain.

2. I do not forget their mistreatment at Hajar,
And their imprisonment in reed huts.

3. If the wise men wished, they would tell me
Of a sickness in their resentful hearts.

4. How often have I resisted an unjust tyrant,
And the harshest ruler with objections.

5. Behind them is my staunch determination,
Slow after my swift vindictiveness.
