3. The greenness of her oryx saddles shames al-Yamanฤซyah;
They are bare, with neither fragrance nor beauty.

4. They come to the cisterns of Banลซ al-Dayyฤn all speckled,
While foul water and stench have defiled your cistern.

An evil stock and branches manifestly rotten.

6. The herd of Banลซ al-Dayyฤn has become a watering place,
While meanness takes refuge with you, O Banลซ Qaแนญan!
