1. Al-Farazdaq insulted Hani'ah's messenger
For messengers with her receive rewards
١. سَبَّ الفَرَزدَقُ مِن حَنيفَةَ سابِقاً
إِنَّ السَوابِقَ عِندَها التَبشيرُ
2. And I forbade you to insult al-Mukharriq
While your mother's bedfellows are but two dogs
٢. وَلَقَد نَهَيتُكَ أَن تَسُبَّ مُخَرِّقاً
وَفِراشُ أُمِّكَ كَلبَتانِ وَكيرُ
3. Would that on the day disaster struck Khuraybah
Their neighbor al-Mukharriq they implored
٣. يا لَيتَ جارَكُمُ اِستَجارَ مُخَرِّقاً
يَومَ الخُرَيبَةِ وَالعَجاجُ يَثورُ
