1. He wants to betray me, and Wahb seeks
From Allah, vindication and safety.

2. Indeed, Allah knows me and Wahb,
And knows we will both meet Him.

3. And Banu Rabi'ah after Wahb,
Like caretakers of the house, will guard it if he betrays.

4. But the cattle, when visited by
Dry years, leave it thin.
