1. I see my camels, praise be to Allah,
Have become heavy when their ascent faces them.
١. أَرَى إِبِلِي والحمدُ للهِ أَصْبَحَتْ
ثِقَالاً إذا ما اسْتَقْبَلَتْهَا صُعُودُها
2. They grazed in the meadows of Zuhair's two sons,
Pasturing until their hides were too tight for them.
٢. رَعَتْ بِحِيالِ ابْنَيْ زُهيرٍ كِليهما
مَعَاشِيبُ حَتَّى ضَاقَ عنها جُلُودُها
