1. Many a piercing stab wounds deep
And a slap leaves one confused, in disbelief
١. رُبَّ طَعْنَةٍ مُثْعَنْجِرَةْ
وَجَفْنَةٍ مُتَحَيِّرَةْ
2. Though a poem be carefully crafted
It may be forgotten come the morrow eve
٢. وَقَصِيدَةٍ مُحَبَّرَةْ
تَبْقَى غَدًا بِأَنْقَرَةْ
