1. To Your home, O Allah, we came with resolve
We pitched our tent of hospitality, so accept us

2. You ordered honoring the guest, and it is
A plan of virtue that You deserve more than us

3. We came to You, hopes in You are great
And with the Chosen One, best of mankind, we implored

4. Would You deprive us, O Most Generous, when
We called You distressed, in Your most lofty home

5. And refuse us - far from You - a whiff though
We presumed good of You, by our goodness exposed

6. My God, we extended our palms, humble seekers
Of Your grace - so fill them with Your fairest gifts

7. We called You, our hearts filled with certainty
That You tend to us as we hoped from You

8. You are Exalted, Lord, Bestower, Munificent
To Your servant through Yourself You lowered

9. We vow to You, O Allah, the favors with which
You nourished souls and bodies since we were

10. When we asked not, You granted them to us
How then, when we ask, can You deny them from us

11. Would sins we exaggerated prevent us
When here we are, having committed yet disowned them

12. We complained to You of all sins, that by
Your pardon, all sins are bound to vanish

13. Our means is the Best of Mankind - through his stature
Near You, mighty - whoever clings to him profits

14. O Messenger of Allah! We implored through
Your stature - concealed or revealed - so lofty

15. We all wronged, we came to you, so ask Allah’s
Forgiveness for us and acceptance of our presence

16. And be, O Messenger of Allah, for us achieving
God’s promise of success, as we found bliss in you

17. By your Household, Companions - especially the first
At Badr - their valiance fortified the religion

18. By the Successors, inheriting their guidance
And whoever revived your Sunna of goodness

19. By the perfect Guardians, through spiritual inheritance
And nearness to your refuge, in outward and meaning

20. Ask Allah to grant your protected nation
Through your stature, security and prosperity

21. To replace hardship - having afflicted them - with
Ease and relief, encompassing them from us

22. To inspire sound judgment in us, every ruler
Assistance, victory and aid He grants

23. To bestow upon us on this night in which
The Wise Command is carried out it means

24. To grant all their hopeful aspirations
Of success in the Abode, the most lofty aim

25. Blessings upon you from Allah, Majestic His Majesty
And peace unending, through which we thrive

26. Upon your Household and the noble Companions, the ship of
Salvation we hope through them for success and security
