1. The letter Alif is but one, yet when it aims
To rise to higher ranks, it becomes a thousand.

2. When we mix it with the gentle nature of one
Who flows with it sweetly, it gently flows as kindness.

3. The Trinity knows that you are its soul
And we are a father and son, so we'll never lack accord.

4. But it distances when it becomes haughty,
So draw near to it when it becomes humble and pluck its fruits.

5. Thus the tongue of the candle cried out in the darkness
And retreated, knowing neither front nor back.
