1. We found you in the bath still pure
Clean of clothing from any fault
١. وَجدناكَ في الحمّام لا زلت طاهراً
نقيّ ثيابِ العرضِ من كلّ شائنِ
2. And we returned and left a note of greeting
To convey from us some of what is in our inner thoughts
٢. وَعُدنا وَأَبقنا رقيمَ تحيّةٍ
يُبلّغُ عنّا بعضَ ما في البواطنِ
