1. Ahmad, I implore you in the darkness of doubtful night
Do you not see the dawn of certainty breathing?

2. These landmarks seemed part of the Fes fever
They almost made souls fly off from bodies

3. I would sacrifice myself for you, O guide to it
When you approached its protectors honourably

4. Dismount your ride and tread its sanctuary on foot
And replenish yourself in a valley ever sacred

5. Do you not know it has been entered
By the seal of authority seeking refuge piously?

6. It was entered by the Prophet's grandson, and it shone
Its lights suns that illuminated the Handaq

He honoured it from an east to a west

8. Bringing light to the night's darkness radiantly
By God, what rewards for one who entered it

9. Adorned with the jewels of fortune resplendently

10. Do you not see its lights layered
Sevenfold, reaching the Atlas mountain's crest?

11. No wonder the lands of the west rose high
On the day of pride over all other lands proudly

12. The light of guidance shone from Taybah
But in the west it found an unlit wick tragically

Today the sun of truth rose for us

14. From the west after darkness most gloriously
So seek the cause and you will find its lights

15. In the past's spring a glistening source copiously
And draw the water of life from it to live

16. When time evolves and destines propitiously
Indeed the one you set your sights upon in its expanse
