1. O noble one, tread gently,
You are not one whose origin is denied.
١. يا فَتى متويِّ رِفقاً
لَستَ مَن يُنكَرُ أَصلُه
2. Rather what is denied in him,
Is the heaviness of madness within him.
٢. اِنَّما يُنكَرُ مِنهُ
من جُنونٍ فيهِ ثقلُه
3. You are an ignoble one from the noble,
You are the leg of a peacock.
٣. أَنتَ نَذلٌ مِن كِرامٍ
أَنتَ في الطاووسِ رجلُه
