At the start of the auspicious season, harmoniously arranged,

ุจูู…ูุณุชูŽู‡ูŽู„ู‘ู ุงู„ุดูุคุจูˆุจู ู…ู†ุณุฌู…ูู‡

2. Telling of the excellence of Abul Fadl in his generosityโ€”
Far be it that he should ever fall short of his noble manners!

3. How many enviers I have, though I used to be envious of them,
Saying in their rancor and pain:

4. Ibn โ€˜Abbad has attained his wish completely
Since the son of al-โ€˜Amฤซd has counted him among his servants.
