١. بُعثنا مِنَ الارنج ماطابَ عَرفُهُ
وَنمَّت عَلى الأَغصانُ مِنهُ نَوافِجُ
2. Like buttons of pearls, well strung
With hands of lovers reaching out like bracelets
٢. كُراتٍ من العقيان أُحكِمَ خَرطُها
وَأَيدي النَدامى حَولهنَّ صَوالِجُ
