2. I yearn for our days
And living in that partnership

3. It leaves disputes for those who dispute
And crying for those who cry

4. O abode, how did your people neglect you
O abode, where did your beauty go

5. Or what news after us
Or after their distance, destroyed you

6. Watering basil while it was being watered
With love and grow with your growth

7. I yearn for a mouth that talks
About it the tongues of miswak

8. O basil, my eyes have not seen
Except your light for its pupil

9. My talk is over, that
There is no life for me until I see you

10. O my envious one, stay in agony
And in worry, your perdition

11. I am, by the love of Muhammad
And his successor, inclined to adhere

12. Do I have peers in their loyalty
And is there anyone who emulates me

13. I shun positions, humiliated
Not guided are the ways of confusion

14. Until he makes the fugitive retreat
And his weapon in ambush, crying

15. O family of Zahra, indeed
Glory is all in your remains

16. My heart is hostage with you
Not guided are the ways to disengage

17. And the order of my affairs is your praise
My soul is ransom for the ones filled

18. Who is like the successor in fighting
A mean person who strips for fighting

19. How many valiant he has repelled
A hostage of adherence and entanglement

20. And an opponent whom he made fragile
His life by the hand of violation

21. He destroyed a thousand heavily armed
Between singled out and shared

22. Cursed be Umayyah, it is
The people of misguidance and violation

23. They fought the best of mankind
And the religion since they rejected it, complaining

24. And deliberately killed Al-Hussein
The overseer of Islam crying

25. The daughters of Muhammad were taken captive
And their veils are hostage to violation

26. Oh I wish I was in Karbala
Crying if the criers cried

27. If I had witnessed it
I would have given my soul to death

28. O its land, I ransom its particles
And my life ransoms your soil

29. Where is glory for the world
From your brilliance or your shining

30. In you are the Greatest Endeavors
With commingling and entanglement

31. O Shiites of the Guided Ones, indeed
Righteousness altogether is in your company

32. I have been given from your life
And your hereafter what I wanted

33. Indeed the son of Abbad above
The skies with the family of Muhammad

34. He has said a thousand poems
Forever soaring in the horizons

35. So to you O Kufan here
Are pearls in a necklace

36. Recite, repeat, and quench my thirst
