1. If my praise for the Family of Yasin ever wanes,
I find sorrows and griefs in my heart.

2. O my nature! Overflow with praise for the Pure Ones, and do not
Withhold or renew eulogy for the Trustees.

3. For I do not seek the spirit of goodness gathered
Except through loyalty to the Seekers.

4. Thanks be to God since I was guided
To love for the Masters, the honorable guides.

5. Love of the Prophet and his Household is my pillar
When calamities befall according to their decree.

6. O Cousin of the Messenger of God! The best of those
Who led the people and ruled over the Hashimites.

7. O Guiding Light of Religion! O Unique in conviction! Passionately
Recite in praise of the Master whom all see as superior in faith.

8. You are the Imam, revered by all people, so whoever
Rejects my words will be silenced by proofs.

9. Is there anyone like you on the day of the deathbed, when
You ransomed the Seal of Prophets with your soul?

10. Is there any preceder of you in Islam, if they recognize,
And this outstanding trait suffices us?

11. Is there any like your knowledge, even if they slip and weaken,
When you are guided just as you guide us?

12. Is there any like your sword on the day of striking, when
The mill of war crushed and demolished?

13. Is there any like your feat at Badr, when
The soul of turmoil surged and its flood poured?

14. Is there any like your felling of the flags of misguidance, and you
Did not cease to split the skulls of the misguided?

15. Is there any like your day at Uhud, when
The tribes of idolatry were mixed and scrambled?

16. Is there any like your might against ‘Amr, when they
Feared death, dreading and evading?

17. Is there any like your tearing down the gate of disbelief, battering it
As if it were a flimsy structure of a mere archer?

18. Is there any like Fatima the Radiant, the Mistress
Whom you married, O Beauty of the Fatimids!

19. Is there any like your two sons in superiority and generosity
Since they were created from the essence of glory?

20. Is there any like your collection of the Quran, recognizing it
In word, meaning, interpretation and elucidation?

21. Is there any like your grasp of the entirety of the will, not
Fearing while the poison of the evil ones coursed?

22. Is there any like your power on the Day of Ghadir, when
You had already surpassed all competitors?

23. Is there any like your being the Aaron of the Prophet, and you
Had attained through nearness all kinds of rivals?

24. Is there any like your state when the birds flocked to you
At your prayer, attended without the worshippers?

25. Is there any like your merit with the sandal, which you wore
While the deniers of superiority were not idle?

26. Is there any like your righteousness in the state of bowing, so
No goodness surpassed your righteousness for the sincere?

27. Is there any like your generosity to the suffering prisoner, the starving
Orphan, when you gave to the destitute?

28. Is there any like your order when you recited the acquittal
In the best of seasons, although you were troubled by the dissenters?

29. Is there any like your verdicts when they overtly declared
“Were it not for ‘Ali, we would have perished in our verdicts”?

30. Is there any like your patience when they betrayed and deceived
Until what happened on the day of Siffin transpired?

31. If I said, “Is there any like what the circumambulating pilgrim wept for?”
I would not have surveyed even some of those charms.

32. But I inform of some of what my soul recognized
In order to silence the mouths of the enemies.

33. My Masters! These outstanding qualities
Flowing in you overtake the competitors and rivals.

34. Just, devout, possessor of gentle disposition and refined nature
Captivating the soul and enchanting the gardens.

35. The loyal Shia loves it if it is recited
Like Jacob’s love for the fragrant Joseph.

36. And the accursed hostile Nasibi recoils if it is read,
And God will requite the children of enmity.

37. So here it is, O Egyptian! Recite it
Among the loyal ones, making it delightful and melodious.

38. A gift with no requital,
How many like it have I composed in praise of our loyal ones?

39. And I do not hope to utter any statement about their virtues
Beyond what the month of Muharram repeats every year.

40. O Lord! Facilitate my pilgrimage to their shrines
For my soul yearns for that clay.

41. O Lord! Make my life in their love,
And my resurrection with them, Amen Amen.
