1. George has marched towards God, turning away
From our land by God's decree and destiny

2. The noble sons of Faraj wept for him
With tears like the pouring rain in seasons of hardship

3. So stand by a grave where its soil now holds him
Seeking from its burial place the cold rain

4. And say, “I have attained God’s mercy”
Record it, for with Him you are clothed in triumph
