1. The beloved has come to a bosom friend
So joy has overflowed in the hearts
١. لَقَد وَرَدَ الحَبيبُ عَلى خَليلٍ
فَفاضَ بِهِ السُرورُ عَلى القُلوبِ
2. And when we were delighted with him I obtained good fortune
We were blessed with the bosom friend and the beloved
٢. وَإِذ طِبنا بِهِ أَرَّخَتُ حَظّاً
نَعمنا بِالخَليلِ وَبِالحَبيبِ
