1. Whatever power you desire from the decree of fate,
I have magnified your power the day you became a lawyer.

2. If you judge in the right, then your merit is one,
Or if you exceed it, you add a second merit.

3. My Lord, when noble morals are promoted,
The eminent lawyer and judge are sent.

4. Eloquence adorned the lawyer with its garment,
Dress him in it flowing, and guard it glittering.
