1. Like heroes on earth, there is no equal
A testimony issued from the greatest states

2. While you are matchless and peerless
And here is the dean of France who came celebrating

3. The greatest celebration of the one being celebrated
Medals of glory have kissed your beloved chest

4. Of different kinds, tasting the sweetness of kisses
The medal of war was jealous of passion

5. Saying why didn't I attain this honor
So it came hastily, burning with longing

6. Embracing the chest tightly, intensely attracted
How could it not when all the traits of glory

7. Are divided in you between words and deeds
Languages praised you unanimously

8. And your name moved among people as a proverb
You who if appears smiling to the people

9. Revives them with your radiance like rainfall
And if appears angry, the heart panics

10. The eyes confused, and the body paralyzed
The haughty Atlas bowed down humbly

11. Asking for ages, but when you came did not wait
Don't you see it when

12. Your voice echoes between the plains and hills
No rebels in their rebellion

13. Except you scattered them on the flatlands and mountains
O you whose rank ascended the heavens of glory

14. And whose mention became as sweet as honey in mouths
This glory and the ultimate glory

15. Great glory that flowed since the ancient times
So we ask Allah to keep you in bounty

16. Adorned through His grace with jewels and robes
And here it is, of excellent poetry, singing

17. Its fruits blushing from shyness
Poetry is what the soul heard and was delighted

18. Becoming through it like one drunk
And poetry is what settled in the listener’s ear

19. Then he recalled it, fearing no boredom
If this is so, then poetry is non-existent

20. And does not come if it did not come from me
Especially in praise of you, hoping

21. From you acceptance, O best of acceptors
