1. My father, my pillar, my hope, my means,
My call, my wish, my master, my treasure,

2. You cared for me and nurtured my childhood,
And gifted me with much kindness,

3. I will shed tears on your grave forever,
And shedding tears on the grave is not enough,

4. You were an example of devotion, asceticism, and piety,
And you did what Allah commanded in the Scripture,

5. You gained mention from people that is good,
So sleep near Allah, O good mention!

6. I will cry for you until no sigh remains in my heart,
That surges, and no teardrop remains in my eye that flows.
