1. My nurses came to visit, but could not find me
Lying in my sickbed, though in plain sight be
١. زارَنِي مُمَرِّضِي فلم يَرَمِنِّي
فوقَ فَرشِ السَّقَامِ شَيئاً يَرَاه
2. "Where are you?" they asked, to which I said "Seek me!"
And they wept when their hands could not reach me
٢. قال لِي أينَ أنتَ قُلتُ التَمِسنِي
فَبكَى حينَ لم تَجِدِني يدَاه
