1. I am a man whose religion has no insulter.
I am gentle, not a slanderer of Islam.

2. So I don't insult Abu Bakr or Umar,
Nor will I insult, God forbid, Uthman.

3. I don't insult the Prophet's cousin
Until shrouded under the soil in my burial clothes.

4. Nor Zubayr, the Prophet's disciple,
Nor will I give Talha insult, mighty or weak.

5. Nor will I say ‘Ali is in the clouds,’
When I have indeed wronged and transgressed.

6. Nor will I utter the words of Jahm,
Whose words sometimes match the polytheists.

7. Nor will I say: ‘The Lord of servants has neglected His creation,
And handed affairs over to Satan.’

8. Neither did Pharaoh utter this in his rebellion,
The Pharaoh of Moses, nor Haman in his tyranny.

9. God repels catastrophes from our religion
With mercy from Him and His good pleasure.

10. Were it not for the Imams, no paths would be safe for us,
And the weakest of us would be prey for the mighty.
