من الصحو يوما صحيح الأديم
3. For many are the slippery slopes
That coat the roads and cause great falls,
٣. فكم زلقة في حواشي الطريق
ترد الثياب يخزي عظيم
4. And many a villain lurks in wait
To bring on grief for men of worth.
٤. وكم من لئيم غدا راكبا
يحبّ البلاء لماش كريم
