1. I see my mind like a waterwheel that turns
And the types of knowledge for it are seas

2. And I have a thought like a beautiful garden
The splendor of my knowledge in it are fruits

3. I indulged in knowledge and ignorance was
Like the night that splits open for daylight

And every young man who saw wonders was confused

Belittled while we were still small

8. I went astray and there is no lighthouse in my sea
I will do the deeds of my ancestors, either

9. As they attained or wherever they ended up
And I am not one with a small mind that

10. Great ambitions become too difficult for me
Nor am I one with a weak heart that

11. Dwellings and homes would shackle me
I will wander the lands so whichever canyon

12. Confronts me, that will be my settlement
And there is no shame upon one who seeks glory

13. But staying put at home is shameful
