1. I saw the women of the age as many,
Yet one suffices you in the age.

2. If you throw her, seek her attributes,
For she was characterized by eight traits:

3. The face of beauty, the head of intelligence,
The eye of chastity, the tongue of truth,

4. The heart of love, the bosom of patience,
The soul of perfection, the blood of affection.

5. She is bliss for whoever attains her,
For he becomes of the house in Paradise.

6. And whoever she is not so beautiful to,
It is mockery to count her among the beautiful.
