And this time is the time of apes,
١. تولى زمانُ بني آدمٍ
وهذا الزمانُ زمانُ القرودُ
2. Death is only taking away the burdensome,
If not for it, the world would have won immortality.
٢. وما الموتُ إلا اصطحابُ الثقيلِ
ولولاهُ فازَ الورى بالخلودِ
