1. I am of a banner in passion and care,
And love, and sickness, and pain.

Hear what you said and deafness in me.

11. And I swore on the honesty of your claim,
By the Owner of the Throne, a solemn oath.

12. Then we retired to a soft bed,
And embraced and held and pleasures.

13. Do not be startled by my passion in love,
For how much passion humbles the resolute!

14. Do not complain that I am a vicious lion,
The lion is confused when the lion attacks.

15. I am a Ta'ibee, an Arab, glorious,
Reaping victory, overflowing generosity.

16. Most terrible, brave, attacking, courageous,
Pure clothes, observing covenants.

17. If you examined the kings of earth, you will not
See other than me, chaste and generous.

18. I subdue fears when fears rise high,
And I kill hunger with generosity and destitution.

19. I am the master of every conquering king,
And the kings of earth are soldiers and servants.

20. Every day my hand rains the land
Continuously overflowing after overflowing.

21. I have two flavors: one delicious,
Sweet taste, and one with poison.

22. And I spend what I gained so I
Earn praise and enrich the destitute.

23. And I travel the horizons when
The night calms, gently and quietly.

24. With an 'Antarite cry, valiant,
That cuts fingers with the power of generosity.

25. If Caesar or Chosroes saw it,
He would kiss the ground before it and lick.

26. We are the notables of kings who were accustomed
To take the insolent and bestow blessings.

27. And we have a generous, elegant Arabian mare
That informs people of distance and honor.

28. Ask the alive among the tribes of Fihr and
Arabs, and non-Arabs, purebreds, and non-Arabs,

29. About our glories, and our manners,
And our loyalty, and generosity, and determination.
