And lords of encampments and domes

Am settled pride and reason of intellect

17. And how many poor I enriched
Who then had steeds and riders

18. And how many barren lands I fertilized
Who then became green

19. And how many I left from Najd, generous
Food for villains and wolves

20. And I troubled the hearts, so no heart
Of the enemies is without turmoil

21. And the day of victory when Oman came
Lofty above a swimming cloud

22. Battalions shining brightly
And leaving every army in ruins

23. I met them with resolve without weakness
And a sharp sword in battle without bending

24. On a noble, strong, generous steed
My spear upright and sharp

25. And in my right a white honorable sword
Keen edged, shooting like a meteor

26. I quenched them with the cup of death
And for the wretched, more deserving of punishment

27. And I refused while its two blades dripped
And my clothes were dyed with their blood

28. Is there one to convey from me to the enemies
Words that are not the lying fables

29. That their necks fall harvested
And my sword fulfills the needs of necks

30. By God's right I subdue or leave you
Prey for foxes and wolves
