2. You have gathered evil and immoral people,
And Al-Sawalim and defects have afflicted you,

ุนุชู ู
ูููููุนุงู ูุฃุจุง ุดูุฑูุญู
ููุงูุงู ุงูุณูููุงูู
ู ูุงูููููู
3. And you came to possess Oman through them,
Yet your view and pride is misguided.

ูุฑุฃููู ูุงูุนููู ุฑุฃูู ุถูููู
4. Did God not create minds for you?
No, by God, you have no minds!

5. Donโt you know - and if you knew with certainty -
Your demons would not have flown with exultation -

6. That we are preventing it with highlands
Of might that never ceases nor disappears,

ุงูุนููุง ุจุงูุนููุงูู
ูุนูุฒู ูุง ูุฒุงู ููุง ูุฒููู
7. And every sharpened, angry, polished sword
Has blood dripping down its blade,
ูง. ููููู ู
ููููุฏู ุนูุถุจู ุตูููู
ุนูู ุตูุญุงุชู ุนููู ูุณููู
8. And every drawn sword that wanders
Across the lands, revolving and swinging,
ูจ. ููููู ู
ููุงุถุฉู ูุงูููููู ุณุฑุฏู
ุชุฌูู ุนูู ุงูู
ูุงุทู ุฃู ุชุฏููู
9. And every courageous, firm, resolute horse
That neighs when the clashing excites him,
ูฉ. ููู ู
ุทูููู
ู ุทุฑูู ุฃุณููู
ูู
ูู ุฅุฐุง ุชุฃููุจู ุงูุตูููู
10. And every noble-spirited, proud, highborn man
For whom great affairs are made easy by resolve,
ูกู . ููููู ุณู
ูุฏุนู ุดูู
ู ุฃุจูู
ูุฏููู ูุนุฒู
ู ุงูุฎุทุจู ุงูุฌูููู
11. Who sacrifices himself though death is hatred,
When the coward renounces his own soul -
ูกูก. ูุฌูุฏ ุจููุณู ูุงูู
ูุช ุจุงุฏู
ุฅุฐุง ู
ุง ุถููู ุจุงูููุณ ุงูุฐูููู
12. As if death upon the battlefield were a stairway
For him, or a protection from humiliation.

ูุชู ูู ุงูููุฌุงุกู ุณูู
ู
ูู ุฃู ุนู ู
ูุนุงุฑุถูู ุงูููููู
13. The birds continue shading his flags,
Standards that neither stray nor tilt.
ูกูฃ. ุชุธููู ุงูุทูุฑู ุชุตุญุจ ุฑุงูุชูููู
ุนุตุงุฆุจู ูุง ุชุญูุฏ ููุง ุชู

14. By the Ancient House and the one who built it,
And what the Messenger brought for people,
ูกูค. ูู ุงูุจูุชู ุงูุนุชูู ููู
ู ุจูุงู
ูู
ุง ุฌุงุกู ุงูุนุจุงุฏู ุจู ุงูุฑุณููู
15. And the pledged right hand of a free, noble man,
Of strong might who does what he says,
ูกูฅ. ูู
ููู ู
ูุฏููุจู ุญุฑู ูุฑูู
ู
ุดุฏูุฏู ุงูุจุงุณ ููุนู ู
ุง ููููู
16. A right hand that I have never enjoyed
The presence of an ignoble or a slain coward.

ููุงู ูุง ูุนู
ุชู ุจุฐุงุช ุฏููู
ูู
ูุนุงุจ ุฃู ููุฑู ุตุนุจู ูุชููู
17. The swords and highlands wear it down,
And the horses trample it with their hooves.
ูกูง. ุชูุงูุดู ุงูุตููุงุฑู
ู ูุงูุนูููุงูู
ูุชุฑูุถ ููู ุฃุถูุนู ุงูุฎูููู
18. If I live, I will leave the women of โpowerfulโ
To mourn him with prolonged wailing.
ูกูจ. ุณุฃุชุฑู ุฅูู ุนูู
ุฑุช ูุณุงุกู ุตุนุจู
ููููู ุนููู ู
ู ุญุฒูู ุนูููู
19. If I live, I will leave the men of โpowerfulโ
Torn apart by tongues and teeth.
ูกูฉ. ุณุฃุชุฑู ุฅูู ุนูู
ุฑุช ุฑุฌุงู ุตุนุจู
ุชู
ุฒููุง ุงูุฃุณูุฉ ูุงููุตููู
20. If I survive, I will leave the daughters of โpowerfulโ
Permitted to loose their hair and wail.
ูขู . ุณุฃุชุฑู ุฅู ุจููุช ุจูุงุชู ุตุนุจู
ููุงุฆุญู ูุฏ ุฃุชูุญู ููุง ุงูููุจููู
21. And I will return triumphant with prisoners from them,
Whose eyelids have been blackened by sleeplessness.

ุจุฃุณุฑู
ุชุฑุงุณูู ูุฏ ุฃุถุฑูู ุจูุง ุงููุจููู
22. And I will leave every โpowerfulโ one in the realms,
Humbled - with no humbled one like him.

ุงููู ูููู ุตุนุจู
ุฐูููุงู ูุง ูููุงุณ ุจู ุฐููููู
23. Then I will leave every proud man of any people,
Humbled, while the humbled one covets him.

ูู ูููู ุนุฒูุฒู ููู
ู
ุฐูููุงู ุทุงู
ุนุงู ููู ุงูุฐูููู
24. The settlements and the deserts have known,
As well as the people of tents and settled abodes,

ุงูุญูุงุถุฑู ูุงูุจูุงุฏู
ูุฃูู ุงูุฎููู
ู ูุงูุญููู ุงูุญูููู
25. That I pierce empires with spears
And honor those who give and those who withhold.
ูขูฅ. ุจุฃูู ุฃุซูุจู ุงูุฃู
ูุงูู ุฒููุฏุงู
ูุฃูุฑู
ู
ู ูุฌูุฏ ูู
ู ูููููู
26. One noble of deed, praised of hand,
Loyal, neither treacherous nor betraying trust,
ูขูฆ. ุนุฒูุฒ ุงูุฌุงุฑ ู
ุญู
ูุฏ ุงูุฃูุงุฏู
ุฃุจููู ูุง ุฃูููู ููุง ููููู
27. Firm of alliance - a Taghlibi through and through Whom honorable glory makes mention.
Courageous, whom no shuddering seizes
ูขูง. ุดุฏูุฏ ุงููุฎููุฒููุงูุฉ ุชูุจููุนู
ูุญุฏุซ ุนููู ุงูุดุฑู ุงููุจููู
28. When the craven is seized by retreat.
Open-handed, whom no miserliness inclines
ูขูจ. ุดุฌุงุนู ูุง ูุฎุงู
ุฑูู ุงุฑุชุนุงุฏู
ุฅุฐุง ุงูู
ูุฏุงู
ู ุฎุงู
ุฑู ุงูููููู
29. When the generous one is inclined by stinginess,
I loved horses and battle as a child,
ูขูฉ. ุฌููุงุฏู ูุง ูู
ูููููู ุนุฐููู
ุฅุฐุง ุงูููููุงุจ ู
ููููู ุงูุนูุฐููู
30. And spending wealth though the miser begrudges it.
