1. In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the sacred shrine, the Black Stone and the Station

2. By Zamzam, the Corner and the Maqam
By the five daily prayers and the fast

3. By the wisdom and rulings mentioned in Surat Al-An'am
I will strike down the arrogant lawyer

4. In the battle with my sharp sword
I will feed the brave warrior meat

5. Of the slain enemies in the darkness
I will honor the guests with food

6. And carpets and tents
I am the son of the honorable chiefs

7. Who strikes heads in the battle
Who is generous like the pouring rain

8. The water of the Euphrates with its overflowing waves
Brought by the pouring rain

9. To every valley and plain
Whose help is exalted above flags

10. Speaking of their mighty hands in battle
Of every clear and proud forehead

11. A chosen descendent of Iram ibn Sam
Who hunted the frightened prey

12. The brave lion of the gardens in war
Famous for his courage and valor

13. When feet thunder in the attack
From the family of Nabhan, the generous

14. Master of all people
I am the king of Arabs and non-Arabs

15. Of high rank and station
O Lord of an army of heroes

16. In which the brave drown
I launched my attack against them

17. Openly while the war raged
With a deadly piercing arrow

18. The brave lion who fiercely attacks
Charging the hopeless cowards

19. In the valleys roamed by wolves
A morning cup of wine

20. Generous, not blaming the critic
I left him in the heat of battle

21. Adding to the prey of wolves and vultures
With a deadly arrow

22. That penetrates the head and bones
And an attacker who takes the livestock in the dark

23. And barks at the dogs in the night
I approached him with a smile

24. Welcoming him generously
How many youths have I granted

25. Like the full moon in its perfection
Swaying over the stud horse with the halter

26. Surrounded by spouses and children
And a tall horse of lofty pedigree

27. Pacing proudly with dignity
And gifts I send with servants

28. To every poor person
That does not cease flowing

29. Say to the sword of high ambition
Lord of havoc and reddening clouds

30. And the brave hero in the clash
O son of noble kings

31. Today I spare you from blame
For your dreams have made me a fool

32. And your words have stirred my heart
May God guide you from ambition

33. You have provoked the adversaries
This is not how, O best of the noble

34. The keeper of covenants should be rewarded
You are the essence of the wise and brave

35. The source of kindness and blessings
You have been my pillar throughout my days

36. And time has not worn you down
You have attained honor instead of blame

37. Do not obey hatred in disparaging me
For you are a lion, not a mere fox

38. And a predecessor never defeated in darkness
My best wishes of peace upon you

39. And may the Prophet receive the finest greetings
