1. The long nights have been adorned with your presence,
And the pouring clouds have been made to serve your drink.

2. The beauty of time is nothing but glorious deeds,
With roots branching from courage and attainment.

3. When height and stature settle comfortably,
Their spears reach up towards the stars.

4. And whoever supports this religion sincerely,
None of the people of his world will let him down.

5. Goodness belongs to you, both non-Arabs and Arabs are nourished by it,
With it establishments flourish or convoys travel.

6. Yearning and awe possessing it,
So delegations follow your wishes and messages.

7. And in spite of the nostrils of faces, their fleets
Came to you in numbers and crowded forces.

8. And your campaigns which without their erasure,
Events have been marked by spears and missiles.

9. Indeed, you visited the land of polytheism while it stood,
But the army demolished it while it carried idols.

10. You have protected guidance that was threatened, and you have taken care of it,
So no adequate guardian remains to watch over it.

11. And you have furnished the plains with safety,
Spreading shades of security that will never fade.

12. So no one is afraid except that your abode gives them safety,
And none is hopeless but your generosity gives them hope.

13. Congratulations for your empowerment - your time is an envious occultist,
It answers when you call, and your kindness is abundant.

14. Knowledge - as the oceans have roared with storms,
And wisdom - as the mountains have stood firm.

15. To the limit of fine manners, if the garden attained it,
It would be impossible for it to be seen at all barren.

16. Whenever the lines were presented as flowers,
Luxuriating in bliss, while the spears are withdrawn.

17. It refused to utter except with deceptiveness of magic,
Like an angel warning against being charmed by Babylon.

18. And to Allah belongs the explanation - you have dragged its trains,
So the first to be blinded by its flashing light are the squinters.

19. Just as they dashed to destruction the beloved daughters,
While they are the tender hearted women of noble families.

20. A warning and swords that obey your command,
Each intending the rule, decisive and separating.

21. And none provoked fervor except you in an occurrence,
With a sign that cannot be masked by flimsy veils.

22. By its flashing insights give light,
And no light except below it is fading.

23. The perfections of Yahya the Chosen are a shortage compared to the predecessors,
So how can the virtues of the earlier people be claimed?

24. This is attained when rooted to guidance,
And is what is sought actually found already attained?

25. A guiding Imam - his enemies have safety through his loftiness,
While the foes have hopes of catching him off guard.

26. So elevation and grammatical inflection in the trunks because of what sprouted,
And dragging their chains to it the fetters.

27. And it pierces with a stab in their necks the spear,
And a blow in their skulls that separates the joints.

28. As a child and adult he attained glory and highness,
For him from them an inheritance, a hump and shoulders.

29. And the praiseworthy qualities from peace and war have not parted from what he does,
Al-Farooqi traits and virtues.

30. He protected and granted - so the curly haired master is smiling,
At his authority while the youth and generosity are stingy.

31. And who can avail the son of Nufail among the enemies?
For by his comforts optional acts of worship are initiated.

32. The prayers of Allah upon him as long as the morning shone,
And as long as the warblers twittered in their youth.

33. Indeed, the son of Al-Khattab is outstanding from it,
Abu Hafs - for Allah a pure and thinning progeny.

34. A reprimand to the clan of Fahr, he reprimands them,
While the brave, biting cold is disdainful.

35. The pearl of Quraysh binding its banners,
And Yahya - for him among the Imams a carrier.

36. Indeed, Allah has granted acceptance through his attainment,
For that the tribes have not turned away from him.

37. Through him the caliphate gently handed over its reins,
For the One who descended from him resolved its dilemmas.

38. He is the known, familiar sea - so can
The recognized one who knows be disappointed?

39. The houses of wealth with others are protected,
While by his generosity vices are humiliated.

40. By his marking I have determined good fortune, and his name,
So neither hesitation nor indecision will fail me.

41. May Allah reward that virtue better than what He has rewarded,
For by his prolonged mention misfortunes are forgotten.

42. And he has not ceased to have soundness of speech in the Highest,
Seeing what the watcher till the end has seen in his speech.

43. You have covered over my stumbling and pardoned me,
So I cannot speak of that pardoning.

44. And after laxity, you have given me vigilance,
And they are not equal - the alert and the apathetic.

45. The ornaments of increase and growth are from the Most High,
Preferences among all people of merit.

46. Whenever the burden of debt weighed down a people,
Then none but you could relieve it from them easily.

47. And which man’s hearing was deafened and his affliction intensified,
But was not cured by your abundant generosity?

48. Indeed, may the gloaters die in rage from what you have triumphed!
For your bestowal is beneficial and your inclusion encompassing.
