1. I'm amazed at one who hoards luxuries for himself
Yet for his grave, only a bier atop a stretcher

2. From the abode of destruction, safely departed
And it bid him farewell, the shabby, voracious termite

3. If only the arrogant thought about the grip of ruin
He would restrain a hand accustomed to enmity and tyranny

4. Beware small matters that lead to larger ones
For the torrential rain's endpoint begins with scattered drops

5. Do good deeds with excellence in all that is righteous
And avoid blameworthy efforts and wickedness

6. If you fear bearing sins tomorrow
Then do not strive in gaining burdens and luxuries

7. I see every tyrant perish, his throne destroyed
He perishes but your Lord's face remains, Lord of the Throne
