1. Alas! Say to the ignorant, how far do you aspire
And your heart leans towards sin, how much does it incline

2. You rushed to sin like a torrent
And the sinner in sin becomes steeped

3. He who dreams frivolously has erred
He bears a burden and it weighs him down

4. I advised you and advice is an obligation so do not
Sin against the one giving you advice

5. Take down your tent from the abode
As if I see it collapsing down

6. And entrust yourself to God, adhering
To Him, and avoid all that brings shame

7. Do not cry your eyes out except with blood
That may wash away your sins

8. Turn away from the useless in your life
That you may profit if they lose

9. And be confident in committing sins
That He will forgive what is destined

10. Is He not the Generous One, that whenever
You come to His door, He opens
