1. The veil of your age, O vain one, is worn
And the house of your glory, if you thought of it, is ruined

2. You have done enough harm with your hands
A day will certainly come when it is abandoned

3. Crying to Allah regretting his mistakes
Blood that dyes grammar spilled

4. No doubt the predetermined death will reach him
And the mind is confused by the signs, intertwined

5. Cooking pride in an impermanent abode
In which the owner and the slave perished equally
