2. So honor him with haste
For the religion of the Guardian, the Praiseworthy

3. Will happiness return
And those promises be fulfilled

4. And affection bloom
After the barren estrangement

5. And gather us without harm

6. Greeted with roses and myrtle
In the meadow’s embrace

7. And may every feast
And every blessed time

8. Inspire us to compose a poem
And every beneficial word

9. And we recite free speech
And string together precious prose

10. And reveal from us the darkness
With the light of melodious chants

11. And affirm the adornment of rhetorical eloquence
With the crown of the month of spring

12. And the birth of Taha the Sublime
So magnify him with affection

13. And delight my soul with what
Enlightens it from blindness

14. And leads it from darkness
To springs that do not run dry

15. Springs of praising the Messenger
Muhammad, the source of sources

16. Upon him blessings that rise
Above the prayers of servants

17. Upon him the prayer of God
A prayer that elevates his supremacy

18. And grants him victory from his Master
With every long extension

19. Upon him the ancient prayer
Gifted him with mighty moral character

20. And the Generous praised him
For it in the Glorious Quran
