1. We took the path of the people, praising the Master
Who guided us to it over any good guide or guided one,

2. From Al-Hassan Al-Yusi, from the progeny of Nasir,
And from the progeny of this Ahmad ibn Muhammad,

3. From him from Ar-Raqi, Abd Al-Ilah, from
His supporter Al-Haji, my Master Ahmad,

4. Upon his pole Al-Ghazi upon my countryman
Ali Sijilmasi of origin and guided,

5. And after this Ahmadun, the son of Yusuf,
So Zarruq, the son of Uqbah, the savior of the fallen,

6. Grown by Qarafi, the young man, son of his support,
For Mursy, this Ash-Shathili, the supported,

7. By Abd As-Salam, the pole of all the poles,
So each by him for pride casts with the most wonderful,

8. So do not be ashamed to say openly,
Behold, O servants of God, here is my Master,

9. To Madani, Abd Ar-Rahman, I belong,
So for God, what sun was attributed to the solitary grave!

10. And this for the authentication of religion is nurtured young
For his glorification like the poor, so limit yourself!

11. For the poles are the pride of religion, its light, its crown,
And its sun the beauty of religion - arrange it, you will be guided!

12. And this one in Qazwin did shine since he rose
With the robes of Bisri, he spiritually aspires and grows,

13. Just as Ibrahim Ahmad Ahmad
To Marwan is attributed since he endowed him with Muhammad,

14. Saeed quenched his thirsty cup,
Just as the pride of the Saud family quenched it for Musa`id,

15. From bounty and success - so God chooses
To Him whom He elects from the devout,

16. So this one in Ghazwaniya invaded the heights
So between Mathna and Muwahhid surrendered to him,

17. And whoever trained under his professor Muzaffar
With the highest of aspirations in every way and purpose,

18. For Jabbar did necessitate success for Jabir
With what is beautiful, the grandson of Muhammad was granted

19. Over his grandfather whom He distinguished with mastery
The prayers of the Great One, the Everlasting Spirit,

20. And this the first of poles - so beseech with his stature
To God, you will obtain what you wished from His Hands,

21. And by the Master Poles east and west
And what the poetry has contained of the devotional,

22. Upon them, may God's peace from a thirsty one
To a heavy drinker of their sweet spring,
