1. The generous man offered us in the garden
The fragrance of bountiful meadows

2. Its golden flowers dazzling like gold
And its white blossoms glistening like silver

3. Its red flowers blazing and a beauty spot for
He who allures all the afflicted with part of it

4. Timidity crept to it bashfully
And bit its cheek with its bite

5. If it were not for some withering that afflicts its harvest
I would say it is the fresh hands of the Lord

6. A palm that is generous to it has bestowed
It has not known stinginess since it opened its grasp

7. May his supremacy last, and purpose remains
