1. Praise be to Allah, from Whom comes my guidance,
And the teaching of my ignorance, and prayers upon the Guide.

2. The son of al-Futuh al-Rida has read
To our Shaykh, the essence of glories,

3. An Imam who came to us from Constantinople,
With a rank that delights the eyes of enviers.

4. He read the thousand line poem of Ibn Malik,
And the text of Khalil, hitting the target,

5. The minor and the major, and other benefits,
Among them the delight of the eyes of visitors.

6. And he has just given books of authorization,
That will be jewelry for him like the necks of steeds.

7. With it he will compete with the protected whenever he wishes,
And make it a watchtower for deputies.

8. May God make your superiority last, O Granter,
Authorize the authorized, you remain a meadow for the visitor.
