1. Ali bin Dawood is an eminent man
And in asceticism from the ephemeral he is far removed
١. عَلِيُّ بْنُ دَاوُدٍ عَلِيٌّ مَقَامُهُ
وَفِي الزُّهْدِ فِي الْفَانِي بَعِيدٌ مَرَامُهُ
2. When one who loves him comes to visit
He offers a cup whose drink is lasting
٢. إِذَا زَارَهُ مَنْ زَارَهُ الْحُبُّ حُبُّهُ
سَقَاهُ بِكَأْسٍ قَدْ يَدُومُ مُدَامُهُ
