1. O you the most noble one
And the one who attained the highest status
١. يَا أَيُّهَا الْمَوْلَى الْهُمَامْ
وَمَنْ حَوَى أَعْلَى مَقَامْ
2. We have been in darkness
Since you disappeared, O the best of mankind
٢. لَقَدْ غَدَوْنَا فِي ظَلاَمْ
مُذْ غِبْتَ يَا خَيْرَ الأَنَامْ
3. So come out to us that we may kindle
Your radiance, O full moon
٣. فَابْرُزْ إِلَيْنَا نَقْتَبِسْ
سَنَاكَ يَا بَدْرَ التَّمَامْ
