1. I seek refuge with the Almighty
From the accursed Satan

2. And from what distracts my thoughts
To frivolity or play

3. And from the evil of one whose
Cunning has reached its peak

4. And from words without action
Whose Lord will humiliate him

5. And from the poverty of my humble self
And from miserliness and inability

6. And from what leads to evil
And what leads to disgrace

7. And from what impedes me
From success or knocks me down

8. And all that angers the Lord
And warrants His punishment

9. Be it deception or betrayal
Or wickedness or curse

10. And from those who wish me harm
And whose friendship is my demise

11. The fault-finder, the mocker
The sneerer, the taunter

12. The detractor, the discourter
The aggressor, the transgressor

13. The insulter, the disdainer
The reviler, the defamer

14. The slanderer, the worthless
And the misfortune that destroys comfort

15. And the injury on my image
Worn by the honored and dignified

16. Be they Arab, foreigner
Turk or Kurd

17. And from the blood of my sinful self
And from the disgrace of my dishonorable soul

18. The wounded without a spear
The defeated without a fight

19. The complete failure in the eyes of failure itself
And the going from travel to burden

20. And from gathering to separation
And from my prevention from benefit

21. And my imprisonment and isolation
And from mocking my humble self

22. And from abandoning my lowly state
And what distracts me from Allah

23. Be it nonsense or buffoonery
And from softness and corruption

24. And from pleasure and decadence
And what has worried my concerns

25. The smoothness of my body over my ribs
And from the burial of my shame

26. Whose stench has not diminished from burial
My heart has hardened from sins

27. That flourish over the burial grounds
Your tenderness is our asylum

28. Oh Lord, Hearer of the hidden
My sorrows and troubles

29. Are the teeth of sadness grinding
And it has worn me out as

30. Wheat is ground, oh You who grants sustenance
To You belongs all praise, to You all thanks

31. Oh Most Generous, Most Bountiful
Be it for the sweet or the bitter

32. Or the slightly sour or the salty
So be for me, my Master, a helper

33. Against the sneaky devil
And be my fortress and be my refuge

34. And be my wealth and be my treasure
And be for me whenever

35. The matter tends towards evil
Forgive me and enliven me

36. With a downpour from Your generosity
And inspire me whenever I despair

37. With tremendous favor beyond despair
Guide me and support me

38. In my speech, my gestures
My loudness, my subtlety

39. My calm, my composure
With the sun of the messengers and the full moon of virtue

40. The pillar of honor and might
The Messenger of Allah, the Sword of God

41. Who eliminated the people of curse
A prayer and then peace be upon him

42. Flowing with pure musk
