And the gems of your necklaces delighted me

And I admired the jewels of your assemblies

4. The share of greeting from it was lost
Burned by the embers of longing

5. And it stirred what God, praise be to Him, did not know
To extinguish from the flames of my yearning

6. Except that I forgot the length of separation
When I breathed in the fragrance of the nearness of our meeting

7. And I hoped in God, glory be to Him
To relieve our torment with the fire of separation
