1. After being near its tomb, Al-Hashimiyya
Extended its intent wherever it intended.

2. And Al-Hashimiyya continues in my mind
A yearning that ignites its fire when I remember it.

3. And Al-Hashimiyya, from the supremacy of its beauty
Makes one forget all supremacy if one forgets it.

4. And Al-Hashimiyya, may our Lord protect it
It is right for minds to protect it.

5. And its qualities roam in thoughts
And its beauty and splendor circle in the meadow.

6. And it elegantly adorns poetry
With the wonders of its rhymes and beauty of its wording.

7. It is delightful when it gives us permission
Of our longing, so our hearts have become its home.

8. With its talk, indeed hearts find it sweet,
As if they have quenched their thirst with it.

9. Al-Hashimiyya, its mention is of purity
It has sweetened the ears and mouths.

10. And Al-Hashimiyya is an irrigated meadow
That reaps life for all who love it.

11. Woe to he who has owned the insides of his heart.
Woe to that, then woe, woe, woe.
