1. Convey to Iyad my message if you pass by him,
The words of a sincere counselor to Allah and the religion.

2. The land will not prosper as long as you inhabit its surface,
Nor will you see justice or join the virtuous.

3. You persist in preparing failure through the deceit
Harbored secretly against this religion in your heart.

4. And you were to us, when I set out to it,
Like a nanny goat if you look for the edge of a knife.

5. We are those who, when chastity is counted,
Chastity and shelter of every poor person are seen in us.
