That lit up the acacias on its banks
١. وَكَأَنَّ المَجَرَّ جَدوَلُ ماءٍ
نَوَّرَ الأُقحُوانَ في جانِبَيهِ
2. And the crescent was like half a bracelet
And the Pleiades a hand pointing to it
٢. وَكَأَنَّ الهِلالَ نِصفُ سِوارٍ
وَالثُرَيّا كَفٌّ تُشيرُ إِلَيهِ
