As if I see the crescent moon of Eid has risen
١. قَد قَرَّبَ اللَهُ مِنّا كُلَّ ما اِمتَنَعا
كَأَنَّني بِهِلالِ العيدِ قَد طَلَعا
2. So take for your breakfast before Eid its preparation
For your month has fallen in the letter Waw
٢. فَخُذ لِفِطرِكَ قَبلَ العيدِ أُهبَتَهُ
فَإِنَّ شَهرَكَ في الواواتِ قَد وَقَعا
